Hey Victory Fam,
First, we want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every prayer, text, phone call, visit, meal, and every act of love and kindness you have shown us. We have truly felt every prayer. ❤️
Pastor wasn’t feeling well Tuesday morning and knew something wasn’t right, so he went to get checked out. He was then sent to the ER in New Albany, where they found that his heart was out of rhythm. He was sent home with medication to help with his condition.
After returning home, Pastor rested for a while, but when he woke up, the medication caused his blood pressure to drop significantly. He passed out twice, resulting in a concussion, a bruised face, and a busted lip. We immediately took him back to the ER, where he was admitted and one of the medications was discontinued.
During his stay, they closely monitored him, checking his vitals every couple of hours and keeping him on a heart monitor. The monitor continued to show that he was in A-fib. Although they were not comfortable discharging him right away, we also felt like we still needed answers and a plan to address the underlying issue.
Thankfully, we received a call back from his cardiologist’s office in Tupelo and were able to get an appointment scheduled for this morning at 8:45. He was discharged from the hospital and we took him straight to his cardiologist.
He is still in A-fib, but he is home, resting, and taking it easy. His cardiologist has scheduled an ablation for October 2nd.
We are asking our Victory family to please continue to lift Pastor and Sis. Sandra up in prayer during this time. Please pray for healing, wisdom for his doctors, a successful procedure, and strength and peace for both of them.
And most importantly, please pray that Pastor actually stays in REST MODE and doesn’t try to jump right back into his normal, always-on-the-go self! ❤️😂
