Following our All About Me week, we jumped into learning about emotions and feelings!

Our Pre-K students talked about how different situations can cause different reactions and emotions. Then we put our learning into action with a fun science experiment!

Each child chose an emotion, attached it to a cup, and watched as baking soda and vinegar created a reaction. Just like different situations can bring out different emotions.

To finish it off, everyone acted out their chosen emoji! So much learning, experimenting, and expressing ourselves!

Ms. Shelia and Mrs. Mary’s students had a fun, hands-on day exploring their five senses!

They used instruments to discover how sounds can be loud, soft, high, and low, while sensory bins encouraged them to use their senses of sight and touch to explore different textures. The yellow room had fun investigating, comparing, and discovering through their senses!

The Orange Room wrapped up their “All About Me” week with a fun height activity! Our Pre-K students worked with a partner to stack or line up blocks to see how many blocks tall they were. They practiced counting, teamwork, and motor skills all while having a BLAST!

And apparently, the blocks falling down was just as exciting as building them up!
