We're a few days late in sharing this, but we couldn't let it pass without a shoutout. We got to welcome our 40 new teachers last week, and thanks to our generous supporters, each of them will receive a $100 Amazon gift card to help get their classrooms ready.

🎒 The Kolton Kaiser Foundation Back-to-School Bash is almost here! Students entering Kindergarten through 4th grade are invited to enjoy an afternoon filled with free school supplies, giveaways, family activities, community resources, and more as we get ready for a great school year.

Mrs. Becky Jones is joining our school family as a special education teacher. She brings with her a wealth of experience and passion for helping students learn and grow. Mrs. Jones has previously taught at Green Valley Elementary and Floyds K***s Elementary. We are thrilled to have her as a Gator!

Indiana's new wireless device law went into effect on July 1, requiring all public school districts to adopt policies restricting student use of personal wireless communication devices during the school day. NAFCS is implementing this state-required policy for the 2026-27 school year.

We understand this is a significant change for many students and families. Over the next couple of weeks, your child's school will share more specific information about how this policy will be implemented on your campus, including expectations, procedures, and answers to frequently asked questions.

Our goal is to work together with families to ensure a smooth transition. We appreciate your patience, cooperation, and support as we implement this new law in a way that helps us comply with state requirements while creating classrooms that are focused on learning and free from unnecessary distractions.

Please take a moment to review the information on the graphic to help clear up some common misconceptions about the new law. Additional school-specific details will be shared before the first day of school.

New Albany High School's Track & Field State Finalists were recognized at the NAFCS School Board meeting last night. We thank the Board for the invitation and once again congratulate the student-athletes on their accomplishments this year! Go Dogs!
