Class of 2027.... Here is your reminder that FREE COLLEGE APPLICATION WEEK starts SOON! Make sure you have all of your info together and apply to those colleges that you are interested in that might have been out of reach because of an application fee. Fees can be up to $75 for EACH college application any other time of the year, so this is a significant savings to explore your opportunities and chances to attend your target schools!

Plus... ApplyTexas makes it easy! You complete one profile and then submit as many apps as you want based on that info! A few colleges may have varied requirements that may require a little additional info, but most of them will be done with one click after completing that profile!

In fact, you can create your profile NOW and get your documents together so that you are ready to just hit those SUBMIT buttons for the colleges you want to apply for! CHS will be on fall break, so prepare now and reach out if you need help! Work early and don't let the deadline sneak up on you!

Tomorrow is our LAST Stadium Pep Rally! This is a reminder that we will be on an altered bell schedule.

We will also have our grade level and academic department spirit competitions so show up in PINK and bring your Braves Spirit!!

We've got a great opportunity to provide feedback on the year so far in Brave Nation, and preview what's possible for the 2027-28 calendars!

Our Quarter 2 Community Connection meeting is October 20!

Here's a quick reminder of our next Community Connection meeting, which provides a chance for you to connect directly with our superintendent, Dr. Tonya Knowlton, and ask any questions you may have.

We will also have one very important item on this meeting's agenda - our initial look at the 2027-28 calendar options! There are six options we'll bring for your review, and your input will directly shape what two finalists we take to the public in our annual survey.

Our 🍁FALL FEST🍁 is coming up THIS Thursday, Oct 8! We will kick off the day with our last Stadium Pep Rally and then continue the fun after lunch with our grade level celebrations!

We will have music, lawn games, and One Scoop Away will be there selling delicious treats!
