It's been years since my last post on this page. If you happen to see this post and know of this program, would you be interested in getting involved if we revive it? I'm in the Denver area now (great spot for this) and would rebuild it here if I had a little support.

Holy cow! It has been ages since I have paid any attention to my beloved fans of DownStream! I have been crazy busy, but am excited to get the program back on it's feet in 2011. In the mean time, Happy Holidays to you all!

Potty Training Down syndrome- what about you? Any ideas, stories or thoughts?

It Goes In The Water! Down syndrome Potty Training | Carmella's Corner During the time of Mark’s confusion with f***s art, we continued to teach him the art of “p*e p*e” training. He sat on the potty at Pre School regularly and had some successes. We did the traditional rituals that surround toddler p*e p*e potty training and for the most part he got the hang of it.

Out in Public | Carmella's Corner My friend, Kathy, babysat Mark for me when I went back to work. She said it was an easy job, and we would laugh at our twisted good fortune. Her son, Monty also had Down syndrome. Even at two, we could sit our boys on a blanket and walk away; and they would still be there when we got back!
