Thank you to our wonderful 2026 summer camp counselors! Their etiquette, enthusiasm, and the example they set for the young campers is one of the reasons Martial Arts Adventure Camp is a big success. This is our 25th anniversary of camp. We've had 100 camps with more than 4,000 campers!

Happy Birthday Virgil! JIKJN Virgil has been training with me since 1992. He is the senior instructor at Gold Country K*k Sool Won. He is a man of integrity, honor, and fierce loyalty. We have been through a lot together and I appreciate and value our friendship.

Martial Arts Adventure Camp is off to a great start and we are looking forward to Session 2 next week! All sessions are full.

Gold Country K*k Sool Won would like to congratulate KSN Niles Bosworth on his graduation from the Sierra County Sheriffs Academy. Deputy Bosworth has been training at Gold Country K*k Sool Won for over a decade and he's currently working on his third-degree black belt. So incredibly proud of you!

Happy Birthday K*k Sa Nim! Thank you for leading by example with humility, integrity, loyalty, and honor. K*k Sool Won has enriched the lives of so many. Thank you, Sir!

K*K SOOL STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: KSN Beck Herzog in his first year on the Nevada Union High School Ski Team took second place in the state championships. He was also awarded the 2026 Sportsmanship Award. Way to go, Beck!

Gold Country K*k Sool Won would like to congratulate Henry Blake on his promotion to first-degree Black Belt. Henry has worked hard and shown perseverance. Great job!
