Hello Community, please see the following message from our Superintendent regarding the San Juan Ridge Family Resource Center…

Dear Families of the San Juan Ridge,
As of July 1, 2025, The Oak Tree Family Resource Center will be run by the Twin Ridges Elementary School District for the 25/26 school year. For many years, the FRC staff and funding has come from the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools. This will now be shifting back to our school district. We understand this need to move resources from the county level to the local level. In order to mitigate interruption of services to our families we will be partnering with NCSOS for partial staffing. Additionally, a part-time grant funded position through our community schools initiative will be in place as we develop and strengthen Oak Tree resources within the community. We anticipate this person will begin in August (at the beginning of the Fall Semester). There will be a brief break in service at the FRC while we onboard the new position and establish a schedule of operations which will be communicated to the community once it is established.
Our focus is serving our students, their families, and the community. While our mode of services may look a little different and you will see a new schedule and some new faces; be assured that we are looking forward to a new era at the FRC.
We will update the community as we further develop the scheduling and staffing at the Family Resource Center
