This is What the Stars Told Me to Play, On a Quiet Night, By the Fire…. ✨🔥
I’ve been slow to words lately (online, at least.) I actually have a lot to say. But sometimes I come here and am at a loss for how to articulate things. Like, where do I even begin? There’s so much beauty to behold in life, and yet here we are watching tragedy, pain, and suffering so often take center stage. From the floods in Nepal, to the destruction of Gaza, to the backslide of the USA into technofacism… it’s all so heartbreaking.💔
But then this art comes in. It seems to speak through me (and to me), from a deeply magical place 🪄, and realign me to the Source from where all beauty springs. The best music seems to happen when I’m looking for it the least, and simply just being with it. It can feel bypassy and even self indulgent sometimes, I guess. But, honestly, it heals me, and I see it heal others. That’s why I keep coming back to it. And that’s also why I’m honored to be able to share this song with you.
After all… “We are stardust. We are golden. We are billion year old carbon” -Joni Mitchell
