🎒🐾 THE COUNTDOWN IS ON… ONE MORE SLEEP, LIL’ PANTHERS! 🐾✏️

We stopped by Panther Valley Elementary School today to add a little extra first-day magic for our students! 🍎🖍️📚 From the colorful crayons welcoming everyone outside to the apples, school buses, streamers, and WELCOME waiting at the doors, we hope these little touches bring some BIG smiles tomorrow morning. 🖤💛

Now we just need everyone to cross their fingers that Mother Nature lets the decorations survive the wind overnight! 😂🤞🌬️ Those streamers are definitely being put to the test!

If you're driving or walking by today, take a peek! 👀 And tomorrow morning, be sure to point out the decorations to your Lil’ Panther as they head in for their FIRST DAY of the 2026–2027 school year! 🥹🎒

A new year. New teachers. New friends. New adventures. And so many memories waiting to be made.

🎒🐾 TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY, LIL’ PANTHERS! 🐾✏️

The backpacks are packed (hopefully 😉), the first-day outfits are ready, and alarms are about to be set a little earlier… Are we ready for the start of the 2026–2027 school year?! 🖤💛

Here is a preview of some of the decorated bulletin boards that await students tomorrow!

Panther Valley School District is actively hiring for the following positions!

🍂 Would You Help the PVES PTO at the Lansford Fall Festival? 🐾🖤💛

We’re gauging interest in having a Panther Valley Elementary PTO table at the Lansford Alive Fall Festival on Saturday, September 26 from 10 AM–5 PM! 🎃🍁

Before we officially commit, we want to make sure we have enough support from our Panther Valley families and community. We would be looking for volunteers to help with:

🧁 Donations: Baked goods, snacks/food, bottled water, and drinks.
📍 Drop-Off: Between 9:00–9:30 AM on Saturday, September 26
🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ Table Volunteers: We would need 2 people at the table to sell goodies during the festival from 10 AM–5 PM. (We can split the day into 2hr shifts—you wouldn't have to stay all 7 hours!)

✨ No clearances are required for this event! You can help by donating goodies, volunteering at the table, or both.

⚠️ THIS IS JUST AN INTEREST CHECK—NOT THE OFFICIAL SIGN-UP!

If we have enough support, we'll move forward with the PTO table and post a formal sign-up with donation items and volunteer time slots.

💛🖤🐾 MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT FOR PANTHER VALLEY FAMILIES 🐾🖤💛

As we head into a new school year, we wanted to make sure Panther Valley families know about an important resource available through the district.

Panther Valley School District partners with Cartwheel to provide students and families with access to virtual mental health services. Families can access licensed clinicians through telehealth, with no waitlist and appointments typically available within 7–10 days.

💻 Services available include:

🧠 Individual Therapy — Students in grades 3+ can meet one-on-one with a licensed therapist.

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Guidance — Parents and caregivers of children in all grade levels can meet with a licensed therapist to learn strategies for supporting their child.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Therapy — Families can work together with a therapist to strengthen communication and relationships.

🩺 Psychiatry — Psychiatric evaluations, consultations, and short-term medication management are available when appropriate.

🏫 School Avoidance Support — Specialized services are also available for students struggling with school avoidance or chronic absenteeism.

⏰ Appointments are available 8 a.m.–8 p.m. Monday–Friday, with some Saturday hours, and services continue throughout the year, including summer and school breaks.

💳 Have Medicaid? There is no cost to families with Medicaid. Cartwheel is also in-network with most major private insurance plans; standard copays or deductibles may apply.

Sometimes children don't have the words to tell us they're struggling. Changes in mood or behavior, frequent worries, trouble sleeping, difficulty with schoolwork, withdrawing from activities, or simply navigating a major change can all be reasons to consider some extra support. 💛
