Temple University Archaeological Field School Temple University Archaeological Field School Learn archaeological field methods and obtain six college credits while participating in actual field research.

This year, students participating in Temple University’s Field School in Archaeology will be excavating the Nesquehoning Creek Site located in the Lehigh Gorge State Park near Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. The site contains the buried remains of American Indian campsites dating from AD 1500 to 8000 BC! The field school runs 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) with participants living in a local campground.
