Hanging out at the Early Connections Conference today!

Excited to share our collaboration with ! 🎉 on Friday, we started our journey paving the way for inclusive experiences on public transportation for DeafBlind riders. Stay tuned for more updates on this incredible journey!

White Cane Awareness Day is next Tuesday, October 15th. This day is dedicated to recognizing the importance of the white cane as a symbol of independence and mobility for people who are blind or visually impaired. The white cane enables individuals to navigate their surroundings with confidence and promotes greater awareness of accessibility and inclusion. Join me in celebrating the strength and resilience of the visually impaired community, next Sunday, October 13th at from 9 AM to 1 PM at Press Plaza, Asbury Park, NJ. and on Tuesday October 15th from 5:30 to 6:45 PM, at the Independence Café—A Unique Boutique, Palisades Center Mall, on the 2nd Floor, next to K2 Racing.for my north Jersey folks!

Blindness Awareness Month is observed every October to raise awareness about blindness, low vision, and DeafBlindness, and the challenges faced by those living with these conditions. The month highlights the importance of accessibility, inclusion, and equal opportunities for the blind and low vision community. It also promotes understanding and support for technological advancements, education, and advocacy efforts that aim to improve the lives of individuals with legal blindness. The month encourages everyone to learn about the different ways blind individuals contribute to society, while also focusing on breaking down barriers related to employment, education, and daily living.

Follow some of the individuals and some new friends as they help continue to educate the world on blindness!
