We have been working on balance in our bow hold. The questions each student faces in establishing a good bow hold is how much of the fingers over-hang on the bow and how far apart must your fingers be to create a strong confident down bow and up bow. From my experience one has to look at the individuals bow hand anatomically. Consider how the student's hand is the most relaxed to create the push and pull of the bow stroke.
