Our Wildcat Band students worked hard at today’s car wash, and our community showed up in a big way! We are so grateful for everyone who stopped by, got their car washed, made a donation, and supported these students.

Every donation from today’s car wash goes directly toward helping participating students with their individual band dues, so your support truly makes a difference for them.

Reminder that our car wash fundraiser is this Saturday August 22nd from 9am-1pm. Students can still sign up as well as parent volunteers. We are still really in need of some more parent assistance if at all possible. All money raised will be divided into the accounts of the students who work the event.

Students did very well performing in our first performance of the season.

This week:
Monday 5:30-7:30pm Rehearsal

Tuesday Morning: Section Leaders and Drumline performance at the JH. Band room will be open from 7-740am to get instruments and head to JH for 8am report (uniform 😎
Tuesday Evening; 5:30-7:30pm Rehearsal

Thursday: 5:30-7:30pm rehearsal (pit report by 5)

Friday: Parent Preview performance at 6pm in. On Anderson Stadium (students report by 530 in uniform B-pit by 5)

Saturday: 9am-1pm Car Wash (sign up for locations and shifts)

What a great way to kick off a new school year!

The Wildcat Band helped bring the energy to Wildcat Kickoff tonight, and it felt GOOD to see them back out there doing what they love.

There’s just something about hearing the band play that makes it feel like school is officially back. We’re excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to cheer on these students as they work hard, make memories, and represent Neosho throughout the season.

Here’s to a great 2026–2027 school year. Go Wildcats! 💛🖤

Reminder that we have our first public performance scheduled for tomorrow. Free food will be available at 5pm. Students need to report to the band room ready with instruments in uniform B (2026 band shirt, khaki/tan shorts, socks, and tennis shoes) no later than 6pm. Also, another reminder that once we begin till we end (6pm-830pm ‘ish’) students do not eat food nor have concessions during that time.
