Could not agree with our Newton County Prosecutor more. I have know Matt for 20 plus years, and it’s a clear choice of who we need to vote for. Please go vote for Matt Stewart on August 6th to be our Newton County Sheriff

After prayerful consideration, I have decided to endorse Matt Stewart 4 Newton County Sheriff

I have worked with Matt since the beginning of my career while he was Joplin Police Chief, alongside him in my office as Victim Advocate, and in his current role as Executive Director of the Children’s Center. At every stop, Matt has demonstrated a deep commitment to our community.

Matt is an experienced and effective leader. He will lead the Newton County Sheriff’s Office with integrity and keep Newton County safe.

Today is the day, as historically today there will be low voter turnout out as the only items on ballot is school board and city council elections. I just ask that you take the time to go vote.

Of course I am asking for your vote, and ask for you to support Steffen as we are pushing for the best of our district.
