If interested, Tickets for adults are $8, for 18/under $2. This evening, Saturday 2/7 - Beginning at 7:00 PM, and Sunday 2/8 at 2:00 PM in the Neodesha High School Auditorium.

* This musical does have themes that could scare younger children (a caretaker feeding people to an over-sized alien plant...)

This is a completely accurate representation of how I felt this weekend and what I looked like logging into my Studio Organizational site again!

I've sent a group email, but in case you're a potential student or it went to spam - here's the gist: I'm scheduling lessons again!!! (I know, FINALLY.) Unfortunately, My school responsibilities have my studio availability limited to weekends. I'll be starting next sunday - January 11, and have lessons available for Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons. I do have a few scheduled already, so PLEASE reach out ASAP! I get you on the calendar and we can make some great musicians again!!

Make sure you get your ticket to see Nora as the title character in "Annie" this weekend! Nora has been a LUMS piano student since the fall of 2022. She's joined on stage by LUMS voice student, Kayley Newland. Both are also members of our elementary choir in Neodesha - Blue Energy.

Generalissmo Mindy Blackard and Annie director Lisa Paige introduce Nora Newkirk as Annie and Molly Blackard as Sandy.

Nora Newkirk returns to the Neewollah stage as this year’s Annie. Nora was “Chip” in Beauty and the Beast in 2023 and a munchkin in the 2021 production of The Wizard of Oz. In other stage experience, Nora appeared in Annie Jr. as Molly, The Big Bad Musical as Miss Muffet, various dance recitals, school talent shows, and SEK Elementary choir in 2025. Nora is the daughter of Philip and Heather Newkirk. She is a 6th grader at North Lawn Elementary that loves musicals and dancing. Nora is active in band, choir, dance, summer theatre, and swim team. She plays piano, violin and trombone, and enjoys making bracelets and hanging out with friends. Nora says, “Annie is her dream role.”

Molly Blackard is making her Neewollah stage debut. Molly is the youngest member of the Blackard family. She is a goldendoodle and when she is not on stage she enjoys car rides, treats and going to grammie's house.

Performances of Annie are scheduled for Friday, October 17th and 18th at 7:00pm and Sunday, October 19th at 2:00pm and Memorial Hall. Tickets are available for purchase at Neewollah Headquarters 311 N. Penn. Ave. or at www.neewollah.com.

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a good start to their school year this past week. I know I needed a looooooong nap after mine!
I've just sent out a studio email reminder to officially schedule your lesson time. Included in the email are some updates to the policy, a link to view the scheduling spreadsheet, and a checklist to make sure we're ready to go!
Due to unforeseen appointments, we will not begin lessons until the SECOND week of September.

Excited to get started, have a great weekend!

(This is a hint... My birthday is October 2!)

Ok LUMS family! My plan is to send all the information we need to get started by Saturday. Some have already messaged me to reserve a time and I've done so. If you would like to do so based on my last email communication, you are welcome to do that and I will try to make sure everyone gets a lesson spot that will work for them and myself.

We will start lessons the first week of September, with the exception of Labor Day. Looking forward to getting the ball rolling!
