THIS SITE IS NOW 10 YEARS OLD!
That must mean that we have a 60th Reunion at good old Neenah coming up in the near future. Ahhhh Hahhh.....a new message from Judy has arrived. The planning is in the works. If you missed her email, it follows here: (reply to: [email protected] or call Judy's cell)
Hi to all of you,
Our 60 year reunion will be August 11, 12 next summer (2023) and we hope to see lots of you there. We have booked Waverly Beach for Friday night, and Bridgewood (Best Western) for Saturday night. Because Best Western's policy changed we did not reserve a block of discounted rooms, but do take advantage of our 77+ years to get a senior discount😁 At this point we do not know what we will be charging for Friday & Saturday evenings.
If any of you have moved recently, please send me your updated address. We will be doing a save-the-date mailing very soon. We currently have 180 on our roster and 114 of you with email.
I have disconnected my landline and am now cell only: 920-479-0815. Gail Peterson-Goetz, Joan Buss-Wollerman, Lynn Guentzel-Karges, Jim Krautkramer, Gary Austin, Roy Rogers, and Todd Lund are all on our committee and are all still with it. Really a great group!
Keep in touch, and stay healthy!

From Judy:
If you didn't come last weekend, you missed a really fun party!
38 of us (including 9 spouses/guests) beat the heat indoors at the Whiting Boathouse, greatly appreciating its AC. Unfortunately Fran Goetz didn't quite beat the heat as he went by ambulance to Theda Clark after blanking out from dehydration. He is doing just fine now. Who left a red RedWings baseball hat? I have it....
Coming from out-of-sate were: Lynn Bellin-Krautkramer, Federal Way, Washington; Kris Mortensen, Minneapolis; Pam Pfrang, Fort Wayne, Indiana; Mary Hook-Kohut, Pinckney, Michigan; Don Geldernick, Elgin, Illinois. And Ruthie Charlton-Fallon from Tokyo, but she is spending much of her summer with friends in Madison.
Thanks to Roy Rogers for doing our music, and to Gail Peterson-Goetz for handling the boathouse rental. Lynn Guentzel-Karges brought some of our 50th decorations. The smaller group enabled more meaningful interaction and I, for one, enjoyed myself a lot more than I had time to do at our 50th. I think this brought our class just a little bit closer. Thank you to all who came and contributed yourself and lots of very good food!
The cruise/brunch on Sunday was warm and fun. 18 signed up, but we had one last minute cancellation. Here is a photo that Bridget Austin took of 11 of the 17. From left to right: Sue Sugden-Larson, Roseann Marta-Kopetsky, me, Ruth Charlton-Fallon, Lynn Guentzel-Karges, Steve Karges, Lynn Graebner-Kepper, Pam Pfrang, Gary Austin, Don Geldernick, and Skip Johnson. Not pictured: Bridget Austin, Roy & Darlene Rogers, Lynn Bellin-Krautkramer, Julie Mueller-Reinert, and Kris Mortensen.
This e-mail is way more fun to send than another obit!
Take care, all of you!

When I saw Gary Austin's picture, I thought he might like to see one of me in almost the same pose. Isn't life strange?

Does anyone know who this is?

Thanks to the Neenah Historical Society for the pictures of the old NHS buildings!

This is the NHS we all knew in 1959-63. At least one of the wings and the big gym were added when we were there.
