WE’RE BACK!

We are beyond excited — and honestly, a little emotional — to finally share that we have officially been given the go-ahead to REOPEN THIS MONDAY! We’ll be back full-time with our normal hours! ❤️

There truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are.

To our incredible staff who held this place together like no other, to our families who stayed, trusted us, and stuck beside us through such a scary and uncertain time, and to every single person who stepped up, helped, checked in, encouraged us, and supported us throughout this journey — THANK YOU. From the bottom of our hearts.

This experience has reminded us just how special our little community truly is.

Now comes the best part…

WE GET TO WELCOME EVERYONE BACK!!

WE CANNOT wait to see those little faces again on Monday (or Tuesday 😉)!

During this incredibly difficult time, some of our amazing teachers chose to meet up with the children they had already planned to care for at the Children's Museum in Appleton. Instead of letting the storm take away their day, they spent it laughing, exploring, learning, and making memories together.

These photos are a reminder that while a building can be damaged, the love, care, and dedication our teachers have for these children can never be taken away.

As we work toward finding a safe and stable place for our center to call home again, we're asking for your support. Every donation helps us get one step closer to reopening our doors and providing a secure, loving environment for the children and families who count on us.

We are slowly digging our way out, but still have so much to go. These videos show the progress over the last week. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back, hopefully sooner than later.

Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness leave the biggest impact. 🤍

When Teri Retelle heard about everything our Lake Edge Learning Center families were going through after the tornado, she didn't hesitate. She reached out and offered to go through her own personal teddy bear collection with one simple request: that we promise each bear would find its way into the arms of a child who had been affected by the storm or by the sudden closure of our center.

Today, we got to keep that promise.

Watching the smiles spread across our children's faces as they picked out a teddy bear was a reminder that healing doesn't always come from grand gestures. Sometimes, it comes from a soft hug, a new friend to hold onto, and knowing that someone they may have never met cared enough to think of them.

Terri, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your generosity, compassion, and thoughtfulness have brought comfort to so many little hearts during an incredibly difficult time. These teddy bears are so much more than stuffed animals—they're reminders that our community is wrapped around us with love.

The smiles on these faces truly say it all. ❤️
