Haha I love this!😂
Be sure to stock up before the snow falls and the temperature drops! This is just an estimate and you may need more books depending on household size. We also have plenty of movies, take and create kits, jigsaw puzzles, magazines, experience kits and more!
Also, the library will be closed December 24 and December 25.

As I read the weekly classroom update that my twins 4K teacher sends us, I am once again overcome with gratitude for our teachers. My twins LOVE going to school. Something I was reminded today when I kept them for for being sick. They were so sad they couldn’t go to school. I know this is all due to how wonderful their teacher and the other Ed assistances in their classes are.
Thank you again to all of you working so hard in our schools.
Also special shout out to the wonderful music teachers and those amazing winter concerts you organized and taught to all our students! Seriously one of my favorite parts of the school year!

I can’t describe how incredibly important I feel like this is. I did go to a four year university. My husband went too. As well as many of my close friends. BUT through my wonderful experiences with SkillsUSA in high school I learned how important those trades are and how we have some incredible people in those trades even at the high school level. Trade schools teach important things that are invaluable to our communities. They Need to be supported and encouraged.

Oh this is so cool! Fun end of summer activity!
PorchFest is at Smith Park this Thursday from 5:30-8:30pm. One of the things you'll see there is Amanda Zehren, our chalk artist! She is sponsored by WG, Inc. This year her theme will be an INTERACTIVE Chutes & Ladders game that everyone can enjoy. We will see you on Thursday!

Can I just saw how excited this makes me? What a fun experience and field trip our teachers plan for the students! I can imagine already how excited my son will be for this. And how he is going to come up with a million questions! Thank you to his teachers and all the others for making learning so fun and exciting!

This picture is curtsey of my six year old who loves to take pictures with my phone😊
I felt like this picture he took was fitting after the election this week. I’m not for everyone. Unfortunately. But for those of you who are for me, I thank you for all your kind words and all your support in this election process.
Congratulations to those who were elected to the school board. I hope they will make the right decisions in their position and be there to do what’s right for our students, teachers and whole community.
I will continue to learn more about our schools and policies and continue to follow along to the things our board is doing. My children are still in our schools and I am still a member of this community and care about what happens. I will continue to ask questions when I don’t understand or don’t agree with what is happening. I will not be dormant. I care too much about my children and community to step back.
Thank you again for everyone’s support. It means the world to me!

I support an education focused on the best for all students. Making sure we can give to all students the opportunities they need to learn and grow. We need to make sure we provide these opportunities to all students but remember that their needs and learning styles are all different. Taking that into account will help us be able to do what’s best for each student.

Shout out to my girls’ teachers for always coming up with these super cute crafts! I love these cute Easter basket they made today! I’m so glad for schools because I’m not nearly as creative as our teachers and I know my kids love doing projects like this!
