Happy Birthday, Miriam!!! We were able to squeak in 3 separate groups yesterday, making for one busy and fabulous day at Legacy Rose Farm!

Miriam chose painting ceramics as her birthday craft, which is one of our favorites because everyone gets to choose exactly what they would like to paint and let their creativity shine.

Dottie, Elly, and Thea loved getting all the attention from the kiddos and were happy to be part of the celebration!

Miriam, thank you so much for choosing to have your birthday party at Legacy Rose Farm! We absolutely love when our lesson students bring their friends to the farm and get to show them just how much fun horseback riding can be!

Ending summer with a special dinner for our amazing instructors, and giving Grace the college send-off she deserves! It's her last year of college already!

A few times a year, we love getting our instructor team together for a nice dinner outside of the barn. It’s a chance to slow down, celebrate all of the hard work they put in, enjoy each other’s company, and have those important conversations about how we can continue to grow and raise the bar for our lesson program.

We truly cannot say enough about this crew. We feel incredibly lucky and blessed to have each and every one of them. They are dependable, hardworking, always show up, and most importantly, they care deeply about giving every student the best experience possible.

Working with 30 different horses and countless horse-and-rider combinations takes a special kind of person. Our instructors have to be knowledgeable, adaptable, patient, and skilled enough to meet each horse and rider exactly where they are. They do that day after day, and they make it look easy!

We are so grateful for this team, proud of what they bring to our program, and thankful for the time we get to spend together both in and out of the barn.

Karley you were missed tonight!

We are so blessed with amazing lesson horses who are patient with our young riders! Lou needed an extension to her leg to get this lazy boy moving! She is becoming such an incredible rider!

A little note from her instructor Bryleigh;

Lou has been LOVING hopping on the bigger horses that she was able to enjoy at one of the camps this summer! First was an english ride on Cheers ( not pictured or videoed, oops! ) and now western on Ricky! Everything comes so full circle when Carley and I saw his potential and now my students are able to enjoy him just as much!!

Today was bittersweet! 💕 Congratulations to Riley on passing Beginner Level 3 with Miss Grace!

Tonight Riley was Miss Grace’s last lesson of the summer before she heads back to college next week. 🥹

Grace, thank you for being such an incredible teacher and for coming back year after year to share your time, knowledge, and love of horses with our kids. You have such a special way of connecting with them, building their confidence, and making a lasting impact.

Wishing you all the best as you head back to college, Grace! We look forward to having you back for your winter break!
