PTI's Beyond Associate seminars are designed for individuals who have completed Associate or Classroom Educator training or , literacy specialists, and special and general educators looking to strengthen their skills in implementing literacy instruction grounded in the and seek further enhancement of their diagnostic and prescriptive teaching skills.
Organized as a series of eight 2-hour workshops delivered via remote synchronous instruction, participants may attend any or all of the sessions. These seminars provide continued professional growth and count toward the CEU requirement for annual recertification through the Orton-Gillingham Academy. Each Beyond Associate course offers 2 PDPs/0.2 IACET CEUs/2 Contact Hours.
NEW THIS YEAR: For an additional fee of $210, participants who take six Beyond Associate courses this academic year and write a brief reflection paper on their experience can now receive one graduate credit from Fitchburg State University. During this inaugural year only, folks who have taken three of these courses in previous years can take the three new ones this year and be eligible for graduate credit.
