Nebraska City Elementary PTO Fundraisers are held to raise funds to be able to give back to the students and help enrich their education.

Nebraska City Elementary PTO is a group made up of parents, staff and those looking to give back to the students and faculty at Northside and Hayward Elementary schools.

574 snow cones handed out by Nebraska City Jaycees, an estimated 270 kids, 300 prizes given out, Nebraska City Cheer sold out their lemonade shortly before the event ended, Cindy Lou’s food truck’s line never seemed to shorten, El Berraco-Grocery was selling ice cream and treats until the very end, and Shine Your Light Nebraska City chalked the parking lot with tons of motivation and fun art to get everyone excited for this fresh school year! Celebrating the start of Nebraska City Public Schools 2026-2027 school year was huge success!

Planning these events take time, communication and lots of preparation up until showtime, but they always seem to play out better than anticipated but not because of us…but because of you! This would not and absolutely could not happen without the helping hands of our volunteers, school staff, sponsors and community support! We can’t thank each and every one of you enough. These events wouldn’t be possible without your help and support! Thank you doesn’t express our gratitude enough!

We appreciate our table sponsors, vendors, and donations from our school and community organizations/athletics- TeamMates Mentoring Program, Morton-James Public Library, Nebraska City Head Start PD, Nebraska City Fire Department, Nebraska City Police Department, Pioneer Volleyball, Nebraska City Cheerleaders, El Berraco-Grocery, Shine Your Light Nebraska City, NC Jaycees, Nebraska City Boosters, all our volunteer face painters/educators, Mia's Decorations and Larson Motors.

Also a shout out to our vendors who kept us fueled with food so the kids could bounce without missing a beat! Jumpers4you Bounce House Rental & Cindy Lou’s Eats and Sweets.

Hello everyone!

We have had so many great questions about tonight’s event, so we wanted to share a few important reminders.

WRISTBANDS

Adults do NOT need a wristband.

Children 3 and under do NOT need a wristband.

All children 4 and older will need a wristband.

We only accept CASH at this time, we will look at cashless options for the future.

CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT

All children, no exceptions, must be accompanied by an adult. This is a PTO event, not a school event, and we simply do not have the volunteers available to supervise children outside of the stations that have already been staffed.

WEATHER

We have been keeping a very close eye on the weather, and so far, it looks like the weather is going to be in our favor. However, if the weather changes between now and this evening, we have backup plans in place to ensure the event can still happen. Any changes will be announced if necessary.

ONE ENTRANCE ONLY

This year, we will have ONE entrance, and it will be through the North Parking Lot. Please plan accordingly.

FOOD TRUCK

We have an amazing food truck coming into town for families to enjoy dinner at their own cost. They have generously agreed to donate 10% of their sales back to your PTO.

We strongly encourage everyone to support them while you are here. It is a great way to enjoy dinner while also supporting our school.

A LITTLE ABOUT PTO

As a reminder, this is NOT our fundraising event. This is simply an event we put together for our students and families to enjoy.

There are a lot of costs that go into putting an event like this together, including vendors, activities, materials, prizes, and much more. Any support, donation, or even your volunteer time is very much appreciated and helps us offset the costs of putting this event together.

We also have a couple of surprises planned to make sure EVERYONE, no matter their age, has a great time.

So please come out, support your PTO, bring the family, and most importantly, have fun and enjoy the event we have put together for you.

Today is the day!!! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Today is the day our kiddos get to enjoy a fun filled Back to School Bash that PTO has put together! We can’t wait to see everyone and kick off another amazing school year! 📚✏️

A few reminders:

Entrance: There is only ONE entrance, located through the north parking lot.

Supervision: All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Ages 3 and under: FREE!

And as always, we understand that life can be hard. ❤️ If your family would love to attend but is unable to afford it, please reach out to us directly. This event is not a fundraiser for PTO, we simply want our families to come out, have fun, and enjoy the day together. We are happy to help!

Can you believe summer is almost over? 😭

A brand new school year is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to kick it off with our Super Hero Back to School Bash! 🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️

Join us as we celebrate the start of an exciting school year filled with new adventures, friendships, and memories.

Help us make this year’s Back to School Bash one to remember with an evening full of fun, laughter, and community!

We can’t wait to see all of our amazing students, families, and staff there. Let’s start the school year off in true superhero style!

We're excited to announce this super sweet event happening at the end of July! This tea party will feature catering by and some fun activities! Call or visit the Library today to register. Registration includes a spot for one child and one adult. Children must be at least five years old. Space is limited!
