What a wonderful evening at the NCECBVI “Light Up the Night” Prom on April 30, 2026, in Nebraska City! Designed for high school and transition students with visual impairments in the ESU 4 area, this special event was a joy to celebrate with students, families, and staff.

The night was filled with music, dancing, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success, for allowing us to join you... and to the students who truly made the night shine. ✨

Join the Nebraska Foundation for the Visually Impaired Children for a truly special spring tradition!

The 18th Annual Beeping Easter Egg Hunt for Visually Impaired Children is happening on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 2–4 PM at the Boys Town Hall of History in Boys Town, NE.

This inclusive, family-friendly event features unique beeping eggs that help blind and visually impaired children experience the joy of an Easter egg hunt. Kids will also enjoy prizes, books (braille & large print), treats, and refreshments—all in a welcoming and supportive environment.

💛 A wonderful opportunity to connect, celebrate, and build community

On January 29, students, parents, TSVIs, volunteers, and braillists spent the day at NCECBVI for the Nebraska Regional Braille Challenge - a program of Braille Institute.

The students participated in the Braille Challenge competition, learned about blind soccer, sang karaoke, and connected with one of the parent workshop presenters.

NCECBVI loves to have fun!

One of our students lost a bet when the KC Chiefs played the Denver Broncos. Since the Chiefs lost, the student had to wear a Broncos jersey to school the next day.
