📚✨ We Didn’t Just Host a Literacy Night… We Ignited a Movement. ✨📚
There are nights you plan… and then there are nights that leave a mark on your heart forever.
Tonight was one of those nights.
As I looked around the room and saw children sitting at the feet of an author with eyes full of wonder, parents leaning in, laughing, learning, and making memories alongside their children, I was reminded that the greatest investment we can ever make is in the mind of a child.
To every parent and family member who attended, thank you. Thank you for showing your children that books matter, education matters, and that they are worth every moment of your time. Your presence was more than attendance it was a declaration that their future is important.
To our extraordinary guest author, Marsita Jordan thank you for blessing Creative Minds with your gift. You didn’t simply read a book you planted seeds of confidence, purpose, imagination, and possibility. Somewhere in that room may have been the next author, teacher, entrepreneur, scientist, preacher, or world changer who was inspired because you took the time to share your story.
To our incredible staff, thank you for every hour of preparation, every decoration, every smile, every encouraging word, and every act of love that made this evening so special. Excellence is never accidental, and your dedication was evident in every detail.
At Creative Minds Childcare Center, we believe literacy is more than learning words on a page. Literacy gives children a voice. It teaches them to dream beyond their circumstances, think beyond their limitations, and believe beyond what they can see.
One book can change a life.
One story can change a mindset.
One evening can change a future.
Tonight, we witnessed something bigger than an event. We witnessed families growing together, children discovering the joy of reading, and a community coming together to remind our youngest learners that their dreams are worth pursuing.
The pages we turned tonight may one day become the chapters of someone’s testimony.
Thank you for believing in our vision. Thank you for believing in our children. Thank you for helping us raise not only readers but leaders, dreamers, innovators, and world changers.
