The smiles we've been waiting all year for are finally here—Opening Day 2026! What a perfect start to a magical Camp Allen summer.

’Twas the night before camp, and all through the pines,
The Blob sat in silence, awaiting good times.
The canteen was stocked with sweet treats on the shelf,
And a disco ball waited to light up the night itself.

The pools stood still under the warm Texas sky,
While arrows and targets waited nearby.
The Giant Squid rested, the Iceberg stood tall,
And Bedlam dreamed shaving cream dreams over all.

Circle Pizza was ready, and cookies with milk,
The pine trees stood quiet, the lake smooth as silk.
The cabins were waiting, the counselors too,
For a summer of friendship, adventure, and faith made new.

Tomorrow families will roll through the gate,
As Camp Allen begins its 105th summer—we can hardly wait.

On behalf of our board, leadership, permanent staff, senior staff, resident counselors, cabin counselors, adult volunteers, nurses, and media team - welcome campers! Over 450 of us have been praying for you, preparing for you, and can't wait to share another unforgettable summer at Camp Allen. Welcome home.

YOU ASKED… WE MADE IT HAPPEN! 🎉

Due to the incredible demand for Junior sessions this summer, we have added an additional Junior campsite for Week 2 (June 7–13)!

Juniors (rising 7th & 8th graders) has been our fastest-filling age group with waitlists for nearly every session, and we are thrilled to open more spots so even more campers can experience Camp Allen this summer. ☀️

Registration for the new spots is now open on a first-come, first-served basis! campallen.org/summercamp

We are thankful to share that Camp Allen has officially received approval from the Texas Department of State Health Services for Summer 2026 operations!

This year’s licensing process has been unprecedented for camps across Texas. While the process has brought new challenges for everyone involved — families, camps, state leaders, and health officials alike — the shared goal has remained the same: keeping campers safe. We are grateful for the care, diligence, and commitment that so many people across Texas have poured into preparing for this summer season.

At Camp Allen, we welcome every opportunity to strengthen the safety and wellbeing of the children and families entrusted to our care.

Now, we are excited to turn our attention fully toward what matters most: welcoming campers home to the piney woods for a summer filled with friendship, adventure, worship, and lifelong memories. Summer 2026 is almost here. 💚

We were honored to welcome the incredible team from Travis Manion Foundation
to Camp Allen for their Spartan Leadership Summit this April.

In addition to churches, schools, universities, and medical institutions, Camp Allen is proud to host more than 50 nonprofit organizations each year — each one doing meaningful work in communities across Texas and beyond. We always love shining a light on the missions and people making a difference.

Seeing veterans, families of the fallen, and community leaders gathered together for days of connection, leadership, and purpose was truly inspiring. Thank you to the Travis Manion Foundation for the work you do to empower veterans and strengthen communities across the country.
