Congratulations to the Wind Ensemble for advancing to the Area Round of the TMEA 4A Honor Band Contest and the ATSSB OPS Contest-4A March Division with their performance of “Kiefer’s Special!” Congratulations to the Symphonic Band for advancing to the Area Round of the ATSSB OPS Contest - HSNV March and Concert Divisions with their performances of “Generosity (March)” and “Blue Sky Horizon!”

Tonight, we celebrate the Graduation of the Rattler Band Class of 2026!! These students have given so much time and energy to our program over the past 4 years and we are certain that they will go on to do many great things!!! They graduate as part of one of the largest classes to ever graduate from Navasota High School and one of the most decorated classes in our program’s history!!

Our final Senior Spotlight is Kayne Osmulski!! Kayne is a euphonium player in the Wind Ensemble and serves as the Tuba/Euphonium Section Leader and Head of Operations! He is an All-Region Band member and a recipient of a Band Booster Club Scholarship. Kayne plans to attend SHSU and major in Criminal Justice.

With the approval of the NISD School Board at tonight’s meeting, we are pleased to announce that the Navasota Rattler Band has been invited to march in the 2027 National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade on Saturday, April 10 in Washington D.C.!!! This is a tremendous honor and we are proud to represent our School, District, and City on the National Stage.
