Ja’marion was selected as an Outstanding Performer at the UIL Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest held May 23–25, 2026, in Kyle, Texas! This prestigious honor recognizes students who demonstrated exceptional musicianship and artistry in performance.

Ja’marion performed There Are Angels Hov’rin’ ‘Roun’ by Uzee Brown, Jr., and represented the RattlerSingers with excellence. We are incredibly proud of his hard work, dedication, and outstanding achievement at the state level!

Tonight, we enjoyed dinner together at Cheddar’s, got checked in, and settled into the hotel. Now it’s time to rest up because tomorrow will be a long — but exciting — day celebrating all of their hard work and success!
