There’s something special about seeing little pieces of our students’ creativity begin to pop up around our school. From colorful masterpieces to those wonderfully unique creations that only a child could dream up, our hallways are quickly becoming a reflection of the imagination and joy of our students.

We are especially excited to share that two wonderful volunteers will be helping bring more art into our school this year: John McCarty and Jordan Meierotto! 🎨👏 We are so grateful that they are sharing their time, talents, and creativity with our students.

We can’t wait to watch our hallways fill up with even more color and creativity throughout the year.

🏠✨ Welcome to your House! ✨🏠

Today was a BIG day for our kindergarteners and new students as they discovered which house they’ll call their own! ❤️💙💚💛

There were smiles, surprises, and plenty of excitement as our newest kiddos officially became part of a House family.

Our House System is about so much more than a color. It’s about belonging, teamwork, and cheering each other on. From the youngest students to our oldest, every child has a place and a team here at SPPS.

✨ A Little Classroom Magic ✨

Our teachers have been working their magic, and our classrooms are officially ready for a new school year! 📚

From beautiful artwork and thoughtful details to a little Harry Potter magic, every classroom has its own special touch.

We are blessed by the creativity and love our teachers pour into their classrooms. We are SO excited to welcome our students back and fill these rooms with learning, friendship, and faith. ❤️

The SPPS staff spent a beautiful day at Sacré-Coeur Retreat Center, taking time to pause, pray, reflect, and prepare our hearts for the new school year.

As we get ready to welcome our students back, please keep our incredible staff in your prayers. Pray for a blessed, successful, and joy filled 2026–2027 school year, and for God to guide us as we serve, teach, and nurture our students each day.

We are ready for a new year, a fresh start, and all that God has in store!

We had a fun morning serving breakfast at the 59th Annual Western Illinois Threshers! There’s nothing quite like good food, great people, and a beautiful morning spent celebrating the traditions that make our community special.
