Wild Alabama (www.wildal.org) is hosting Wild Wednesday Nature Hikes for Kids and Families in the Bankhead National Forest throughout the summer!

Meet up is usually at 9:30 and ends about 1:00 or 2:00.

Join Wild Alabama staff for an adventure that will involve playing in a stream on these hot summer days. Explore and wade in the cool shade of one of Bankhead’s creeks. Be prepared to get wet! There's no better place to be on a hot day.

Bring food and water for 3-4 hours.
Wear water sandals or sneakers that can get wet.
The forest provides wonder and water - we provide nets and buckets!
