🚀 Rocket Star Spotlight! 🌟

Today we are celebrating a Rocket Star who is Eager to Learn!

This student never shies away from a challenge. They keep trying, persevere when things get tough, and always follow through with a positive attitude. Their determination and willingness to learn are a wonderful example of what it means to live out our ROCKET expectations! ❤️🧡💚💜

🍕🍃 Learning Letters Through Hands-On Activities! 🍃🍕

Mr. Clifton’s kindergarten class is focusing on learning what each letter looks like, sounds like, and what they can find around them that has that sound.

For the letter P, students made pizza! 🍕 They even shared their extra pizzas with our office staff—what a delicious surprise!

For the letter L, students went on a leaf hunt 🍃🔎 and then used their leaves to create art. Some made leaf collages, while others created something with the /l/ sound, such as a lion, Lulu, or even a family member!

Even better, students had the opportunity to share their learning with other teachers, building confidence as they talked about the letters and sounds they were learning.

We LOVE seeing our Rockets learn by seeing it, saying it, finding it, creating it, and sharing it! ❤️🧡💚💜

We’re on track for a GREAT year!

We are so proud to recognize one of our students for showing what it truly means to be KIND! 💙

On the first day of school, this student went out of his way to help younger students find their way to class. What a wonderful way to start the school year by looking out for others and making them feel safe and welcome! ❤️🧡💚💜

In music class, our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students explored creative movement to music using stick figures as inspiration. Each student interpreted the pictures in their own unique way as they traveled around the classroom. It is exciting to see our students learn to express themselves through music and movement!
