The Huskies came ready to cheer! 💙

From blue hair and painted faces in the classrooms to the cheers at the games, school spirit has been everywhere as we host our annual volleyball and football tournament.

Our boys won their first football game, and our girls won their first volleyball game! What a great start. Enjoy these photos of the students and athletes who are making it such a fun week.

Let’s go, Huskies! 🏈🏐

Our automotive class is looking for cars! 🔧

Have a vehicle that needs some attention? Harvest Baptist Academy’s automotive students work alongside three mechanics to gain hands-on experience, and your car could be their next project!

We primarily offer:
✅ Oil changes
✅ Brake jobs
✅ Tune-ups
✅ Diagnostic checks

Two vehicle spots are available each Friday. Owners provide their own parts, oil, and needed supplies. When signing up, include your vehicle’s year, make, model, and requested service so we can review the work and confirm arrangements.

Sign up for a Friday spot!

What an exciting night of volleyball for our Varsity Lady Huskies! 🏐

After dropping the first two sets to Cornerstone, our girls faced a choice: allow the difficult start to define the match or keep battling one point at a time. They responded with determination, won the next three sets, and completed an incredible comeback victory!

These are the moments that show why school athletics are about so much more than wins and losses. Our girls learned the value of perseverance, trusting their teammates, and refusing to quit when the outcome looked uncertain.

Congratulations, Lady Huskies! We are proud of the way you fought together until the very last point!

Our JV Lady Huskies battled Cornerstone through five hard-fought sets last night, coming up just short in a 2-1 loss. 🏐

While every team wants the victory, athletics teach lessons that reach far beyond the scoreboard. Discipline, perseverance, composure, and the determination to keep fighting are developed in moments just like these.

We are proud of the way these young ladies competed and continued working together until the final point!

There’s something special about watching our elementary volleyball teams take the court! 🏐

Many of these girls may go on to play high school sports, but this program is about so much more than volleyball. It’s about learning to work together, encouraging one another, and building friendships that can last for years.

We love seeing our Blue and White teams play, grow, and make memories together. These are the moments that make our Harvest family so special!

Got an old motorcycle collecting dust? We may have some students who would LOVE to get their hands on it!

One of our students’ favorite electives at Harvest Baptist Academy is Automotive. When winter forces us indoors, we switch gears and start restoring motorcycles, tearing them down, learning how they work, repairing them, and hopefully bringing them back to life.

And we need motorcycles!

If you have an older motorcycle sitting in a garage, barn, or basement that you haven’t touched in years, don’t haul it away. Consider donating it to our students! Running or not, we’d love to hear what you have.

That old bike taking up space could become an incredible hands-on learning experience for a young person.

Old bikes. New skills. New opportunities.

A huge thank-you to Todd and Jennifer Conocchia for helping make Harvest Baptist Academy’s very first Career Fair possible!

Today, our high school students had the opportunity to meet professionals representing more than 30 career paths, including health care, engineering, aviation, finance, law enforcement, the military, skilled trades, education, real estate, manufacturing, graphic design, and more. They were also able to speak with representatives from five different colleges and technical-school programs.

We want our students to see that their future is full of possibilities. Career exploration is more than choosing a job someday. It is learning what different paths require, asking good questions, discovering personal strengths, and beginning relationships with people who can encourage and mentor them along the way.

At HBA, we are committed to helping students prepare not only for graduation, but for the calling God has for their lives. We are grateful to every presenter who gave their time and experience to invest in our students today!

Our Seniors Are Kicking Off the Fun!

We have a GREAT group of seniors this year, and they’ve officially announced their first Senior Theme Day fundraiser — FLANNEL DAY!

On Tuesday, September 15, students can pay $3 to trade their regular uniform shirt for their favorite cozy flannel! Participants may wear jeans or uniform bottoms and will even receive a small treat. 🍪

Every dollar raised helps our seniors get one step closer to their Senior Trip!

We love seeing our seniors work together, have some fun, and make memories along the way. So break out the plaid and help support the Class of 2027!

We’re pretty sure there’s a policy somewhere that says HBA staff members aren’t allowed to get sick or need a day off. Unfortunately, every once in a while, somebody breaks the rules!

That’s why we’re so thankful for the 13 wonderful people who joined us today for HBA Substitute Training! They spent the morning learning the ropes in our classrooms, aide positions, office, and kitchen, getting ready to step in wherever they’re needed.

By the end of the morning, all 13 had completed their training and received their HBA Substitute Training Certificate of Completion!

Welcome to the HBA substitute team, and thank you for being willing to serve our students!

What a great start for HBA Athletics!

Congratulations to our Varsity and JV Volleyball teams and our Football team on opening their seasons with wins on Friday! We’re proud of our student-athletes and coaches and excited for a great year of HBA sports.

HBA families, make sure you’re following the HBA Sports page!

Our Athletic Director, Carrie Black, does a fantastic job keeping the page updated with schedules, scores, photos, announcements, and everything happening with HBA Athletics. If you want to keep up with our Huskies throughout the season, this is the page to follow!

🐾 Congratulations, Huskies! Let’s have a great season!
