đź’š In Loving Memory of Terrence Butler đź’š
Today, Competitive Edge EQ pauses to honor and celebrate the life of Terrence Butler, a gifted scholar, accomplished student-athlete, engineer-in-training, and young man whose presence left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A graduate of Bishop McNamara High School, where he was named MVP and recognized as a McDonald’s All-American nominee, Terrence carried both talent and tenacity wherever he went. He continued his academic and athletic journey at Drexel University, where he studied engineering, earned recognition on the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll, and was known as a friend, mentor, and valued member of the university community.
Terrence’s story reminds us that brilliance can be quiet, burdens can be hidden, and even the strongest among us sometimes struggle in silence.
Today, we remember:
💚 His brilliant mind.
💚 His boundless potential.
💚 His competitive spirit.
💚 His kind heart.
💚 His lasting legacy.
We remember the student.
We remember the teammate.
We remember the son.
We remember the friend.
At Competitive Edge EQ, we believe emotional intelligence begins with courageous conversations. Terrence’s life calls us to be more intentional, more attentive, and more compassionate. It reminds us to check on the people we admire, the people we assume are okay, and the people who carry more than they reveal.
Let us choose connection over confusion.
Compassion over assumptions.
Presence over silence.
As we honor Terrence today, let us also raise awareness about mental health and the importance of seeking support when life feels overwhelming. There is strength in speaking up. There is courage in reaching out. There is hope in being heard.
Terrence’s light still lives in every life he touched, every lesson he inspired, and every heart that remembers him.
💚Please leave a GREEN HEART in the comments to celebrate Terrence’s life, honor his legacy, and help raise awareness for mental health. 💚💚💚💚
One Love !
