💡Sustainability Spotlight!💡To wrap up a Climate Action unit focused on blue carbon and coastal ecosystems, Mr. McFadden’s 6th grade class took a walking field trip to Beacon’s Beach. Students observed local flora and fauna, explored the intertidal zone, talked about climate change and its impact to our beaches, and also picked up litter along the way! Hands-on learning + caring for our coast = a perfect day at the beach! 🌞🌊♻️ //

💡Sustainability Spotlight!💡At Park Dale Lane Elementary, students prepared for this week’s rainfall by ensuring that their school’s rain barrels were free of debris and ready to collect this precious natural resource! Rain barrels, like this one in the , have so many benefits like reducing stormwater runoff, preventing flooding and erosion, and even saving money! 💦🌧️🌎 //
