We are soooo beyond excited to have Marissa Powers at GBSD in a few weeks!!!

Marissa Powers is a New York City based Choreographer and Dance Teacher. Also known as Marissa Powers on Instagram and TikTok, Marissa has grown an audience of over 200,000 dance enthusiasts through sharing her journey as an artist in New York City. 

Marissa has traveled to over 20 US states and the United Kingdom to choreograph for dance teams and studios, receiving recognition nationwide for her work. Blending her athletic contemporary background with the storytelling aspect of her choreography has proven to be successful in bringing teams to a new level on the competition floor. She hosts classes in New York City at Broadway Dance Center , creating a supportive environment for dancers to express themselves. She also provides training and master classes to countless studios in the surrounding areas. 

Marissa prides herself in her ability to create a versatile career in dance and choreography. Being able to do multiple jobs that all come from her passion for dance has been the greatest joy in her life. She hopes to be able to share that with every artist she crosses paths with. Marissa is such a gem and we’re elated to have her working with our dancers this August!! 🫶🏻
