6.1.16 Bus Information

Bus 13 is running late this afternoon. We expect the bus to arrive at Ben-Hem by 3:15 and then take its normal route.

I scream. You scream. We all scream for.... teachers!!!! This week is teacher appreciation week and we love our teachers. And ice cream.

We are receiving calls in the office from families reporting that they are receiving phone calls from the Natick Schools and that there is not a response or message when they pick up. We are not sure what is happening with our phone system at the time but are looking into it. There is no emergency just a glitch with the phone system.

As of 8:15 this morning our phone system is still down. If you need to get information to or from the school please email your child's teacher directly or the Donna Kelley in the front office. We will send out a message once phone service is on-line again.

It's official! The Bobcat Challenge is on! 600 good deeds is our first goal for the year. I bet we'll be there in no time at all!!

This morning's school assembly (The Mr. Gatto Show) provided in depth investigative reporting on the secret life of Mr. Kelly. Mr. Gatto's research team uncovered shocking information about our principal's life outside of school. It's true. He has one. Check out the photos and get a first hand look.

Be sure to ask your kids about the Bobcat Challenge too! Mr. Kelly and Mr. Gatto challenged all of our Bobcat's to get to know new people, show how they CARE, and do a great deed.

Many, many years ago Mr. Gatto was interviewed to be the Vice Principal at Ben-Hem. During that interview he was asked to trouble shoot a situation that went like this, "It's ninety-two degrees outside and there are 650 children that you have to get Popsicles to and the first batch didn't freeze overnight. How would you manage that situation?" Well, today Mr. Gatto got the chance to put his plan into action and he nailed it! Way to go Mr. Gatto!!

A million thanks to the PTO for pulling all of the popsicles out of the Framingham/Natick area at the very last minute!!!!
