An incredible day celebrating an exceptional educator! ❤️💙

Natick Public Schools was proud to honor Natick High School Multilingual Learner teacher Michelle Boyle, one of three Massachusetts Teacher of the Year finalists!

Commissioner Pedro Martinez of the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education visited NHS to tour the school, meet with students and celebrate Ms. Boyle. Students also had the opportunity to ask the Commissioner questions about his role and experiences.

Heartfelt remarks from Superintendent Dr. Melissa Spash, Principal Josepha Blocker and students made this a moving celebration of a teacher who supports, inspires and motivates so many learners.

Congratulations, Ms. Boyle! We are grateful for all you do for our students and school community.

Natick Public Schools is looking for wonderful daily substitute teachers. The ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys working with students and is available to work throughout the week and the whole school year.

Natick Public Schools offers competitive substitute pay on a scale based on education and experience. Substitutes can earn between $125-$163 per day.

Becoming a substitute offers great flexibility in choosing your own schedule and becoming a valued member of the school community.

Students took the spotlight at Monday’s School Committee meeting!🥳

Mia, Ilia, and Faisal from the NPS Achieve program joined educators Larry Coan and
Erin O’Reilly to share their work with Achievable Printing, a student-run vocational program that produces custom printed goods and classroom materials while giving students hands-on job training.

The students spoke about their favorite parts of the business and brought examples of mugs, stickers, lanyards, keychains, and documents they have printed. We loved seeing their work and hearing firsthand about their experiences!

Ben Hem kindergarteners listened to the book “Mixed” and then created their own colors by mixing paint! 🎨

Brown School hosted its first PBIS assembly of the year! Students learned Bear Belly Breathing, our new Mindfulness Strategy of the Month, and explored the theme of belonging through the school’s PAWS core values: Practice Empathy, Act Respectfully, Work Hard, and Solve Problems Together. Brownie also made a special visit to help launch a school-wide belonging project: the Brown School Belonging Puzzle! 🐾🧩

Wilson Middle School students and staff were treated to a wonderful guest speaker, Ed Gerety, today! Mr. Gerety promotes leadership, confidence, respect and kindness. He supports building and maintaining positive school cultures. Students and staff enjoyed his visit. Some 8th grade teachers even dressed up to support his visit, dressing in beachy shirts that match the title of his presentation: Catching Waves: Shaping Your Future Today!
