The math curriculum starts from concrete and moves onto abstract. on a base ten system, which allows children to learn how to do operations. These exercises lay the groundwork for children in their mathematical journey.

Hi Sunrise families! The children of Room 1 have been putting on their snow gear all by themselves. It’s important to stay warm under these cold conditions. Room 1 children are ready for snow!!

We are thankful for the people in our community. Room 3 and 4 prepared a wonderful communal feast for the toddlers class yesterday.

Our Art Adventure Program worked hard on their two week project. Week 1 they made their mold, and Week 2 they decorated their mold with creative and vibrant colors.

Room 2’s walk in the Sunrise Field, is a great way for them to enjoy the beautiful colors of Autumn. The field is spacious and allows for children to run and make connections with the world. They are able to collect treasures such as colorful leaves and fallen branches. As Maria Montessori would say, “When children come into contact with nature, they reveal their strengths.”
