Dear JoySounds Music Together folks and interested folks!

JSMT has been on hiatus for a couple of years since the pandemic, but we plan to resume classes in late fall 2024 or early winter 2025. We miss our Natchitoches families and look forward to seeing you again in early 2025. We'll keep you posted. Meanwhile, keep singing and playing music!

Hi All! It's Spring 2023 and I'm looking for a new location here in Natchitoches, LA so we can start our local Music Together classes again! I've missed these wonderful moments and the connections with local parents and children. Stay tuned for announcements about classes in the late spring, summer, or fall 2023.

Dear JoySounds Music Together Families!

I've missed singing and playing with you during the past year and a half. I still don't think we're ready to return to our MT classes, but I'm hoping that we can resume classes in January 2022. I look forward to making music together with you in January! Stay tuned!

Hello JSMT Families and Friends! I hope you are all well during this time. I will start JSMT classes again most probably via zoom in August. But for now, here's something I thought you'd enjoy. This is from Erin Jenkins Smith, A Music Together Teacher. I thought lovers of this rhyme would get a little smile.

I had a little frog
His name was Tiny Tim
I left him on the floor, and the puppy got to him.
She chewed up all the feet
She chewed up all the toes
And then she swallowed one down before I popped her on the nose!

(No dogs were harmed in this the making of this chant, but frogs sadly were).
