I just wanna thank my parents for their patience and understanding during our two closure dates. But we are not the only daycare with sick children. We’re just the only one who closed to try to get it contained. When I called my State Licensing lady to tell her we were closed those two days she said just Thursday 4 daycares alone called to report it, so it’s not just us with sick children. You’re just not hearing about it at the other centers.

With all the sickness going around, we will be checking children closely up on arrival if they have any visible signs of illness, runny nose, Hacking cough they must be excluded and taken to the doctor. If you’re child is sent home with a fever, diarrhea or vomiting, they must have a doctors excuse to return.

Unfortunately, I still want have enough staff to operate tomorrow. Me and the ladies that wasn’t sick bleached and sanitized today room by room. Miss Trai even cleaned the outside toys and washed all the bicycles down. We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing and appreciate your understanding. We will reopen Monday at 6 AM. Also, please if your child is showing any signs of sickness keep them at home.

We just had two more children test positive for Covid. One was in the infant room and one is in the two year-old room so if your child is exhibiting any kind of signs of sickness, you may need to take them to get tested. Let them know they’ve been exposed to Covid and RSV.

OK, I hate to make this decision, but I just got a call that one of our one year-old teachers just tested positive for Covid her and her son , so we will have to shut down tomorrow due to half of my staff being out sick. The remaining staff is gonna come in tomorrow and sanitize the entire place. We may have to close Friday too. I will let y’all know tomorrow what it’s looking like . If I can get a certified person in because you can’t just hire anybody to sub they have to have the background checks and everything else. I hate to do this and understand it put some of you in a bind, but the safety of my children is the most important thing.

We had two more children test positive for RSV today and one had Covid as well. One of these children was in the one year-old room and the other child is in the two-year-old room. Their only symptoms was a hacking cough, so I hate to say it might just be sinuses, but if your child is coughing, running a fever or snotty nose, they will be sent home and have to be taken to the doctor. We have to think about the safety of all our children. Yes I know it’s allergy season cause I myself have a runny nose, but my doctor told me mines just sinuses so it may just be sinuses or allergies but with these issues going around, you will have to have your children taken to the doctor and get an excuse
