Mrs. Gray’s 3rd grade scientists are putting forces into motion! Students have been investigating what makes a floating train rise and exploring how forces work through exciting chain reactions. Then, they put their learning into action by creating their own chain reactions using a variety of materials and recording evidence of the forces at work.

Fifth grade was cooking up some good reads today! Students explored different genres, sampled a variety of books, and discovered a few new titles to add to their reading lists. We can’t wait to see which books become their new favorites! ❤️📖

Our 2nd graders in Mrs. Smith’s class are practicing their math fluency using Numbers Up from the Eureka Math² curriculum! They’re working hard to build speed, accuracy, and confidence as they practice adding quickly. ➕💪📚

The E-Lab Beverage Cart made its way to deliver ice cold drinks to our faculty in celebration of a successful first week of school! 🎉

These kiddos officially completed their first week of 3rd grade today! They participated in a rules and procedures scavenger hunt to show off everything they’ve learned! From where to turn in their work to how to use our flexible seating correctly, they worked together, had fun, and proved they are ready for an amazing year in 3rd grade!
