Our Louisiana Homesteader's Conference Poster Contest has begun.

Deadline: September 18, 2026

The winning artwork will:
Be featured at the conference, on social media, and other conference promotion outlets

Be produced into 16x20 prints to be sold at the conference ($20 per poster)

Rules:
Any ages can enter
Any medium is welcome
Absolutely no AI-generated images will be considered
All submissions must be dropped off at the Red River Research Station by the deadline

Today was a special day for our LSU AgCenter intern! Travis culminated his internship by presenting at the LSU AgCenter Intern Symposium hosted on the LSU Campus! Travis did a remarkable job sharing his experience with fellow interns, mentors and AgCenter Administration. We have absolutely loved having Travis in the Natchitoches office and we wish him all the best as he continues to prepare for his future!

It was a beautiful day celebrating Mimi Stoker, 2026 Louisiana 4-H Hall of Fame Inductee! This lifelong 4-H supporter is a member of the Natchitoches Parish Foundation, a dedicated volunteer, and a tremendous asset to our organization! We ❤️ you, Mimi and are super proud of you!!
