Mrs. Shirley’s 6th graders got hands-on with science as they dissected a chicken wing to explore how the skin, muscles, and bones work together to help us move! 💪
Students also took a closer look at what happens when a bone is broken and how injuries can affect the way our bodies function.
What an exciting way to bring anatomy to life and make learning memorable! 🧠🔬🦴

Girls on the Run is a Girl Empowerment program that helps girls build social, emotional, and physical skills.
The maximum number of girls allowed to sign up is 15!
It is a first come first serve basis.
It is a 10-week program beginning September 8th and will end with a 5k run on November 7th!
There will be two practices each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Pick up will be at 4:15 at the front of the school. Use the link to sign up!
