📣 NMS HOMECOMING UPDATE 📣

Homecoming packets went home with students today! All completed packets are due back Monday.

⚠️ Important Correction: The titles Mr. NMS and Miss NMS were mistakenly left off the packet. If your child plans to run for Mr. NMS or Miss NMS, simply write the title on the application.

Please make sure applications are completed and returned by Monday. We’re looking forward to an exciting Homecoming season at NMS!

Parents and guardians, please be advised that Natchez Middle School has NOT officially started Homecoming campaigning at this time.

We are aware that campaign materials are beginning to circulate on social media; however, no student has been approved to begin campaigning yet. To ensure that the process is fair for everyone, students may only campaign during the officially designated campaign period.

We appreciate your help in reminding students to wait until campaigning has officially opened before posting or distributing any campaign materials.

💙💛 Bulldog Nation, we need YOU! 💛💙

As we prepare to welcome our students back, we're working to make Natchez Middle School look its absolute best—but we can't do it alone!

We're looking for volunteers to help with campus beautification, including painting the exterior of our school. Whether you can lend a paintbrush, a helping hand, or donate blue and yellow paint, every contribution makes a difference.

It truly takes a village to invest in our children, and together we can create a campus that reflects the pride we have in our students and community.

Dear Natchez Middle School Parents and Guardians,

At Natchez Middle School, we believe that positive behavior, consistent attendance, and academic success should be recognized and celebrated. We are excited to introduce our 2026–2027 PBIS Monthly Rewards and Incentive Program for all 7th and 8th grade students.

Throughout the school year, students who meet school expectations will have opportunities to participate in monthly rewards, including Kona Ice, the Game Truck, School Dance, Student vs. Staff Games, Movie Day, R&B Lunch Fridays, Flag Football, Prom, and Field Day.

In addition, students can earn special semester rewards by:

Maintaining three (3) or fewer absences each semester.
Having no fighting or major discipline infractions.
Maintaining no grade lower than a C in every class.
Students who meet these expectations during the first semester will earn a trip to the bowling alley in Vicksburg. Students who meet the same expectations during the second semester will be recognized during our Talent Show Celebration.

Honor Roll students will also be recognized every nine weeks with a special celebration coordinated by our counselors, including freeze pops and other rewards.

Please review the attached PBIS Monthly Incentives flyer with your child and encourage them to work toward these goals. Together, we can build a positive school culture that supports academic excellence, responsible behavior, and regular attendance.
