It’s been a while since I started my role at the NYC Department of Education as a Curriculum Developer, but I wanted to share this update with everyone.

In my ongoing commitment to providing equitable educational opportunities and making a lasting impact on underprivileged students, I am excited to introduce a specialized Technology Curriculum tailored for Students in Temporary Housing. This program is designed to address the unique challenges faced by these students, ensuring they have access to the tools and skills necessary to thrive in a digital world.
Our curriculum is enriched with STEM and CompTIA certifications, offering students a robust foundation in technology, digital, and financial literacy. By integrating cutting-edge technology and real-world applications, we aim to empower students with the confidence and competencies required for success in both academic and future career pursuits. These courses and certifications not only enhance the learning experience but also provide students with valuable credentials that can open doors to higher education and professional career opportunities.
