I started doing this last year to help cook like me while I’m on the road, (She’s doing great at it!) but it’s become a yearly move I plan to continue as obviously I collect a lot of spices and often end up w multiples! It’s a great way to get rob of 2 out of 3 cumins that were in the pantry

Cultures colliding in the best way! I always feel the best way to share is w food at the table w drinks and laughs!

Germans love the afternoon coffee and cake, especially at Christmas time. They serve a traditional Stollen which is very delish and great w coffee and tea. I’ve shared about stollen before on my page.
This trip I brought a to share w the in-laws and show them some of my US southern upbringing! This plate is a bit of both filled in my some treats my own sweet mother made.

The fruitcake had quite the adventure getting over here. It’s was flagged incorrectly as an explosive at first😂. Check out the .z.pardue post on this event as she’s a much better story teller than me!

All worth it as everyone enjoyed and deemed it Lecker! (Delicious)
