The Appellate Advocacy class has been competing in an internal court competition this week! Students have learned the technical legal writing skills by writing an appellate brief, and have further learned to argue both sides of a constitutional issue before our mock appellate judge panels. The case involved the constitutionality of drone use by law enforcement and whether a juvenile can receive a life sentence with eligibility for parole after 50 years.
Thank you to our alumni and friends for taking the time this week to serve as our mock judges, and congratulations to the groups who have made it to next week's final round!

A big thank you as well to Mark Lanier and General Jonathan Skrmetti for taking the stage to discuss the influence of faith in your work.
