A new Kidsville Storybook Walk is out starting today! 🐛☀️📚️

Come take a walk in Centennial Park and read the pages of the storybook, The Very Impatient Caterpillar by Ross Burach. Is it time yet? With a little time, and patience, a caterpillar becomes a beautiful butterfly. But, one VERY impatient caterpillar is finding it difficult to wait. His fellow caterpillars tell him to be patient, but the waiting is just so hard!

Discover the story behind one of Greek mythology's most iconic figures at Kidsville this Saturday! 🏛️🎨

Hear the myth of Athena, explore the Parthenon's sculptures, and create your own artwork inspired by the stories you've discovered. It's a fun, hands-on way for young learners to connect art, history, and mythology together.

Come take a walk on the Centennial Park Walking Trail around Lake Watauga and move like the park’s honey bees! Read the pages of the storybook, "You Are a Honey Bee", written by Laurie Ann Thompson, illustrated by Jay Fleck. From birth to first flight and beyond, discover all that goes into being a bee in this charming picture book! 📚️☀️

Then, you can stop by the Parthenon Museum store during open hours and bring some of the park bee's honey home with you!

You can enjoy the "You Are a Honey Bee" walk anytime this August during park operating hours of 6 AM - 8 PM! 🐝
