There are so many highlights the last week of Sewanee Summer Music Festival it is hard to pick a favorite moment. The Brass Festival Concert in All Saint's Chapel is absolutely one of the stars of the weekend without a doubt. The evening began with the Bela Fleck Concerto and ended with a stunning performance by the brass and percussion of SSMF

Traditions can be followed, broken or started. I am pleased to announce, the beginning of a new one. The women who have lived in Smith Dorm, from the beginning have demonstrated that they are a truly unique and talented group of women at SSMF.
A new tradition was born tonight - dorm picture on Jacqueline Avent Concerto Concert Performance, when all of us are dressed up!
I think it is a tradition that just might stay.
