We're so proud of Mr. Feltt, our students, and all the students from Metro Nashville Public Schools that remind us that we all have a light inside of us wanting to get out and shine for all to see! We’ve been very busy with testing and some dates got past us. But we want to wish Dr. Owensby a belated Happy Principal’s Day last Friday. He was our grill master yesterday and treated all the teachers and staff to lunch! We also want to say a HUGE thank you to our Sunshine Committee and Social Committee for organizing breakfasts and lunch every day this week. Today we had an amazing lunch provided by our own HES moms of students. Teacher appreciation week continues through Friday!

Thank you Hermitage Hills Baptist Church hermitagehillsfor spending your Saturday morning with us painting our blacktop, fixing our sun shade, and organizing our closets. We appreciate your partnership and dedication.

Hula Hoop A Thon is tomorrow! Don’t forget to have your child wear their tennis shoes and donate to our PE, Art and Music departments! In PE we are working to earn enough money to buy a set of scooters!

All before and after school care is cancelled unless your provider offers an inclement weather site. Please check with your provider for that information.

All after-school activities, including sports practices, games, performances and meetings also are cancelled.
