Cumberland Elementary School

Summer Meals Are Available and we want to make sure our scholars have access to nutritious meals all summer long! MNPS is offering meal boxes for eligible students. Each meal box includes 10 breakfasts and 10 lunches. The pick-up location is at Hunters Lane High School on the following distribution dates: June 1, June 15th, June 29th, and July 13th from 1:00pm – 2:30pm.

Today we celebrated our Kindergarten–2nd Grade scholars for their outstanding academic growth this semester with our Read and Ride program!

Through consistent reading habits in Beanstack, our young scholars strengthened their literacy skills and showed incredible progress in the classroom. We are proud of the dedication, hard work, and love for reading they demonstrated all year long! Our top readers in each grade level were recognized with brand-new bikes, gift cards, and medals, and the classes showing the most growth on FAST Reading earned a well-deserved pizza party!

A special thank you to Mt. Nebo Masonic Lodge and G-Men of Nashville for your continued partnership and commitment to increasing early literacy outcomes for our scholars. Your support is making a lasting impact in our community!
