🌿 Favorite People — The Ones Who Grow 🪴
We’re still soaking up the joys of summer, but today we’re reflecting on one of our favorite Montessori traditions: the Pre Primary Fly Over Ceremony.
There is something truly magical about watching a young child begin school for the very first time. With tiny backpacks on their backs and hearts full of curiosity, they learn some of life’s biggest firsts—separating from their parents, changing from outside shoes to inside shoes, washing their hands, caring for their environment, and discovering the joy of independence.
Day by day, these small moments become the foundation for confidence, concentration, and a lifelong love of learning.
The Fly Over Ceremony celebrates more than moving into the Primary classroom—it honors just how much these children have grown. 🌱 Their wings are ready, and they’re prepared to soar into their next Montessori adventure.
